Tired of Snow + Features

Just when I was thinking Spring might finally be coming along, it stormed again. Wednesday night we got a foot or more of fresh snow, and we seriously have no where to put it. There's heaps of it piled up the windows, all the way up to the roof of the garage, the ditches on both sides of the driveway are so full we can't push it down anymore, and the piles are so high we can't throw anymore over them. In two words, it sucks. And backing out of the driveway is so fun. Not. Then last night we had -20F/-29C. With a wood stove it's hard to keep the house all warm and the water pipes from freezing at night, so we've been turning on space heaters at about 4am for a bit. I can't believe this weather, tomorrow's March! I never remember a winter like this, and I never want to see one again! I took some photos to show you guys, but I'm too lazy at the moment to put them on the PC. Shoveling/raking roofs from 10am - 4pm kinda takes it out of you

Back in November I sent a handmake (card stock, snowman rubber stamp, colored pencils, glitter) card into the 'Holiday Card Project" (I took pic of it, 'cause I was really pleased with it, but it was accidentally deleted from my PC), and I completely forgot about the whole thing till one day a few weeks ago when I noticed I had an extra 1 month sub. Later that night when the News Article on it was put up, I went to read and over and found a nice little surprise... I had been chosen as one of the ten random prize winners of the Fella Plushie! It really made my day, I never seem to win anything, and I wasn't even trying for it this time! I've been wanting one of them since they first came out, but there's been more important things to spend $20+SH on. I got it within a week, and I love it!

As always. I've been so busy/distracted lately, and I'm getting behind again around here. I'm not getting much time to spend on the comp right now, what with Drs, all the snow to shovel & wood to haul, and life in general. Come 7pm or so, I just feel too tired to sit and stare at the screen, and have been lazing about watching movies or reading. I'm also taking some Anthropology/Ancient History and American & British Literature courses, so that's taking up my time too; but it's so worth it - I love the stuff! Everyone around seems to have a cold/flu right now (my 8 year old cousin has bronchitis quite bad), and I've had the flu off & on for the past few weeks. Last week it was so bad I felt like I couldn't move, aches all over. My eyes have been all itchy & watery/blurry too, so that doesn't help with anything. I have moderate asthma, and this weather and being out in it shoveling/messing with the wood is getting to me too. Already had to up my Advair dose and the other day I had to start using my rescue inhaler again. Not fun.

Every time I log onto dA I have a thousand or more deviations, I even went through and took some people off my watch to try to slow it down. A lot of it is stock I would like to download, but no time to. I try my absolute best to answer any/all comments I get, and view/comment on features of my work, but when it comes to the favs I get that's another thing. I get about 100 a day from all different people, and to thank all of them individually has been too much, as half the time my internet and/or dA doesn't want to load their page all the way to the bottom, or just repeatedly times out. If people who fav also comment, I will go & thank them, but for people who don't comment I haven't been thanking. And when someone on my friend's list favs a few pieces one day and then again the next day I will thank them the first time, but let it go the second. However, that doesn't mean I don't appreciate every single fav I get! My art wouldn't be what it is here without support.
So for everyone I've neglected lately in the thanking department: Thank you, your support means a lot to me!.

And another thing, if still I owe you any stamps/avatars or exclusive stock for anything, please note me & let me know, as I loose track of these things with everything else I'm doing!

March is going to be finishing up my "Winter Features" series, and in April I will start some Spring ones... God I hope it's actually Springy here by April! Though we've had snow showers in May before.
