Thanks so much, I'm glad you like them! :) I had taken a bunch of bokeh pictures of trees the other day at work, just playing with the camera settings to create the bokeh, and I wasn't sure what to do with them. Then I opened them in Photoshop and changed them to pinks/reds/purples instead of greens & blues, and I really love how they turned out :D

Well these ones were kind of difficult to "make". I'm not sure, but I think it is easier to create the effect with an SLR camera (which I don't have)m, because of the manual control. With my old camera, a little Canon Powershot, I could create bokeh very easily by just setting it to "super macro mode", but then focusing on something that wasn't close; i.e., light through leaves. That was also how I achieved my bokeh Christmas light photos last year. Because when the camera was on the super macro setting, it was meant to focus on things from 1in-1cm away from the lens, not 6+ feet. With my new camera, which is what I took this shots with, it's not as easy. The camera is a much much better camera, but when I put it on the super macro and try to get a shot of something far away, it still focuses clear on it most of the time! :XD: I don't know if it's because it is a better camera or what. But I finally created these by playing with the amount of pressure on the shutter button (the "focusing"), and how fast or slow I completely push the shutter button down.

Maybe it's because it is a better camera. At least you have a good camera. I have a Kodak E-100, and it's not digital. I hope to buy one next year.

I really like my new camera, it's an Olympus SP-800UZ, with a 30x zoom. It was able to zoom out as far as the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, while I was still on shore in St. Ignace (Mack Island is 15 miles away)! Pretty neat. I loved my other camera too, a little Canon powershot. But some people would say that neither of those cameras are very good, so  I think it takes more than a good expensive camera to take good pictures.
