Out for a Winter's Walk - full view for details - This is my 1st entry into `jenepooh's "Winter Dreams" contest, for more info see this journal [link]
"Winter's cold blanket of snow may have fallen, but we can still enjoy our walks together..." says the Girl to her Horse.
Winter Blanket - Ada L. Wine The snow is like a blanket that God spreads across the land, Where wheat and oats and barley sleep, Awaiting God's command. It covers all the pasture fields, And hides the grasses brown: It gives the bare, gray willow tree A clinging, wooly gown. It wraps around a fencepost tall, And covers up its head, Then drifts along the meadow banks To tuck the creek in bed.
The model, with that hair & cloak, reminds me of Kirsten Dunst's character in "Interview with the Vampire"; [link] And I love how the color of model's hair and the horse's coat match.
Thanks so much to *Kittihawk11, who has given me permission to use her beautiful Winter photo. It was the perfect background!
