"She hides amongst the leaves of burnished gold..." - for full poem text, see here: [link]
Title inspired by the beautiful above-mentioned poem I found during my online poem browsing/reading. I absolutely love how this piece turned out! Which is odd, lol, usually there's something I'm unhappy with. The hair was just an experiment, but I really like it.
I'd been wanting to use this model stock for awhile, but couldn't get inspired... until I saw *nathan-101's "Sunset Crooked Tree" photo (which isn't stock); I knew it would be a perfect background for the model. So many many thanks to *nathan-101 for allowing me the use of his photo:, this piece wouldn't have been made without it.
There is no other explanation as to why I give a except that within a piece there must be colour, concept, definition and mostly a part of the artist themselves. There has to be a uniqueness that comes from what the artist sees, and mostly what you as the artist wants us to see. Achieving that you have gained my and I have again seen the amazing talent you have shared.....
lovely shot! I must say what really captured my eye was all the colors used here! I can tell that you didn't alter much of the actual photograph to get those hues and i think it's quite an impressive shot

Thanks very much. You're right, I didn't change the original colors of the background photo much at all. I really liked it to begin with, it was so Autumny. I basically just worked on the girl and tried to get her eyes, skin, and hair to go with the rest of it.
